While the rest of his family sleeps through the winter, Little Brown Bear decides that he would rather do something fun...

Mama Bear tells Little Brown Bear that

every baby bear sleeps in the winter.

But Little Brown Bear won't.

Little Brown Bear waited until he was certain

that Mama and Papa Bear were fast asleep.

"Humm. How will I ever find them?"

Little Brown Bear

He follows the geese as they head south.

He spends his time playing on the beach with his new friends.

Then, one day, Little Brown Bear misses his cozy bed and thinks about how his parents must miss him...

Little Brown Bear was in a hurry and the geese fashioned a carrier from a fishing net and safely carried Little Brown Bear home.

He quietly opened the door,

tiptoed past his sleeping parents ...

He climbed into bed,

snuggled under the covers,

and fell fast asleep.
